Ceremony Types

1. Legal Wedding Ceremony

2. Religious Only Ceremony

3. Commitment Ceremony

Bali Paradise Weddings do not offer ceremonies involving traditional Balinese Wedding rituals as we personally feel this may be regarded as disrespectful of Balinese Culture. If you wish to add a Balinese flavour to your ceremony this can be done in other ways such as decoration and entertainment.

Legal Wedding Ceremony
This involves two parts. Firstly a Religious Ceremony is performed by a representative of the couples own religious belief. then a Civil Ceremony is performed by a Government Official to legalise the marriage. Certificates of Marriage from the Religious Official and Legalising Certificates of Marriage from the Government Official are issued.
Religious only Ceremony
This type of ceremony is suited to couples who are already legally married and wish to renew their vows. It involves a religious ceremony performed by a representative of the couples own faith. A certificate of marriage is issued which has no legal implications.

Commitment Ceremony
This is performed by a lay official and is suited to couples who have no desire to be legally married but wish to make a commitment to each other. A Certificate of Commitment is issued.
